Symptom

You have not set up a Wordpress website with the "Install Wordpress" button on the webspace control panel, but uploaded it manually. The webspace control panel therefore does not yet know that a new Wordpress instance is running in your webspace.

In order to use the comfort functions of the Wordpress Toolkit of the webspace control panel (e.g. clone websites, manage security settings and many more) you would like to make the Wordpress website known to the webspace control panel.

Solution

1. Log into the webspace control panel.

2. Click on the “Wordpress” menu.

3. Click the "Scan" button.

The webspace control panel now adds all valid Wordpress websites that it can find in your webspace account to the Wordpress toolkit. This process can take a few seconds because all directories of the webspace are searched.

The webspace control panel loads all configuration data from the Wordpress website with the exception of the password, as this is one-way encrypted. After the Wordpress website is displayed in the Wordpress Toolkit, you can set a new password with the "Setup" link, so that in the future you can conveniently log into your Wordpress website with a "Log in" button directly from the webspace control panel without having to re-enter the login data each time.
